Job Title: Communications Advisor
Location: Coventry
Full Time
Salary: £26k - £37k per annum DOE
Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office per week, WFH remainder of the time

We're helping our Utilities client find an experienced and efficient Communications Advisor with experience in corporate reporting to join their Business Support team in Coventry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a B2B and B2C environment and be a really great copywriter with an understanding of data importance. You will also be working closely with stakeholders.

The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide additional support to the Business Support and Communications teams. You'll actively demonstrate and promote the Values of the business, and positively contribute to a customer-oriented approach.
You'll share, promote, facilitate, and implement technical and procedural best practice within the business, promoting a positive safety culture. Delivering brilliant quality customer service to all internal and external stakeholders will be a key part of the role.
You'll assist with campaign planning for the Communications team, effectively promoting corporate reports when necessary, and support key planning with key stakeholders. Supporting corporate reporting and design and layouts will be a part of the role.
This is a role that focuses on comms reporting for the business. 80% of the role is working on reports and 20% is marketing work.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role be inquisitive with an interest in developing their existing skillset as well as learning new skills and will be able to demonstrate an inclusive work ethic. They will understand the importance of brand strategy and the usage of guidelines to protect the brand and reputation.
They will possess the ability to write, edit, and proofread key messages and content, and will keep up to date with current market trends. A professional Marketing, Communications or equivalent professional qualification is desirable but not essential.
A degree-level education is required. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - alongside copywriting and proofreading skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive and personable, and a creative thinker who seeks to solve problems with a good visual sense and design awareness.
They'll possess the confidence with the ability to suggest ideas and challenge the status quo when required and use analytical ability to draw together and synthesize many different pieces of information to come to a logical conclusion.
