Job Title: Commercial Director Organisation: Outdoor sports centre based in North Wales, organisation has secured funding until 2026 in an incredible industry that is growing (B2B and B2C) Salary c£60k + bonus of up to £15k OTE This person will need to be available a few times a month on site in North Wales for meetings.
Are you a commercially focused individual looking to drive growth and revenue streams in a tourist/sporting organisation? We are on the look out for a Commercial Director for our client who will join the senior leadership team and lead on growth and development of the organisation on a permanent basis.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Setting out, driving and implementing a strategy for the organisation to grow, innovate and become even more commercially successful Identify and drive a strategy for growth in existing and new revenue streams Working & negotiating with senior internal and external stakeholders with a sophisticated understanding of the varying demands and opportunities of tourist/leisure or relatable markets. Own and manage the P&L and deliver to sales targets Explore new opportunities for investment and development in the existing portfolio and seek out new opportunities Develop strong partnerships in order to maximise revenue sales Use commercial flair, to explore growth opportunities and deliver new partnerships across sporting activities, events etc
Skillset & Attributes required:
Excellent Commercial Leader with strong commercial modelling experience Proven experience in Sales and BD with a grasp on marketing. Savvy negotiation skills and highly numerate. Proven experience working with Big Brands ideally - someone who is very passionate about Sports and outdoor recreation Strong stakeholder management experience and influencing skills High level of emotional intelligence Corporate sales experience Previous experience dealing with funding
