This is a brand new Chief People Officer role, and represents a unique opportunity to join a highly successful professional services, values led group of organisations at a pivotal stage in their development. As Chief People Officer, this role will work in synergy with an HR savvy executive team to drive and implement a commercial, value added People strategy. Building on a culture of high standards, you will provide effective leadership and motivation of an People team, that you will build, in order to deliver a customer centric People service; providing the very best outcomes for the organisation, employees & the customer.

This is a genuine opportunity to shape, build & deliver, with a key focus on driving industry leading, best practice People initiatives especially in the creation of a compelling EVP to fully engage employees, alongside leading and developing projects that will support future organisational growth.
Embracing the full generalist gambit, there will be a focus on talent, leadership development and employee engagement supporting individuals to develop and maximise their potential and in turn contribute to a high performing culture.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of developing and implementing People strategy and delivering operational excellence through People teams across a multi-site, commercial environment which has undergone significant growth. Direct experience of scaling PE backed, SME organisations through organic growth & acquisitions is very attractive.

A natural change agent & coach, you will possess a sophisticated range of communication, influencing & stakeholder management skills, and will be particularly adept at designing and implementing effective, commercial People solutions that deliver tangible bottom line results. Experience of motivating and leading a team and managing and driving positive culture change to drive employee engagement is key.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with the expectation of being in their Cheshire based offices twice a week.
