Business Development Manager
Location: Manchester (with travel around the Greater Manchester Area, Cheshire and Stockport)
Salary: 32k to 35k - achievable bonus of 10k on top of base - plus company car - 3k

Our client is a large services organisation, assisting public and private companies across the Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Stockport area, over 15 years old and growing as a business year on year. We have recently recruited a strong Senior Business Development Manager for the business, this role will join him in building their client base and pushing the business forward, an amazing opportunity to build your career and skill set commercially and in business development, working with all the senior service heads pushing their product range.
Helping pitch and organise local businesses in the Greater Manchester, Stockport and Cheshire, you will be a confident customer focused individual with hands on sales experience. Partly home and partly office based, managing your own diary and time with meetings locally with businesses.
The Role:
To work alongside the Senior Business Development Manager in the following tasks:
*Develop Sales and Development Plans
*Research New Sales Opportunities
*Pitching Products/Sales Opportunities with assistant from colleagues
*Nurture Current and New Client Relationships
*Generate New Business Opportunities
*Develop and Maintaining Sales Pipeline
*Meet KPIs on Sales Leads
*Create and Attend Appointments with Clients
*Research and Discover Avenues for Tender
*Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
*Open to sector, ideally a mix of industries but not a must
*Locally Based (easily commutable around Greater Manchester)
*Communicative and Collaborative
*Experience Selling Products at Mid to High Level
*Building Customer Relationships
*Pitching and Presentation Skills
*Reaching and Exceeding Sales Targets
