My client is a high profile global Accountancy and Advisory firm with a reputation for innovation. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to work closely with the Partner and Director team, focusing on a few priority accounts.Using project management discipline, the Business Development Manager will proactively develop and manage the business development activity aligned to the market / service line execution plan - building revenue streams from clients, through account management strategies, planning and accelerating client relationships.
You will proactively manage the execution of the go-to-market growth strategy across five defined segments: * Ongoing management ensuring focus upon new client meetings and revenue origination * Supporting and sustaining an outstanding, scalable account and business infrastructure * Personal origination of relationships and pipeline with growth companies * Becoming a specialist in and coaching others on key firmwide BD tools.
The successful candidate will have * Ability to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships * Strong numerical and financial skills - able to understand key financial metrics both internally and externally * Strong operational skills - be able to use Powerpoint, Excel proficiently and organise teams and document proposals * Experience of building client relationships and account management. * Experience operating in complex, matrix environments, with the ability to demonstrate success in driving activities such as account planning, coordinating responses to key client tenders Exposure to the Professional Services sector highly beneficial
