Business Development Director
We're looking for a Business Development Director for our client, a digital retail agency. This is a pivotal role in the development of the business and their continuing success, and one which will provide an opportunity for continued growth.

As the business continues to grow, they are on the hunt for a proven new business professional who is hungry to help take the business to the next stage of growth.
●Identifying, generating and nurturing new prospects and leads with a particular focus on the retail, financial services, telecommunications and consumer sectors
●Working to KPIs and targets both independently and as a team ensuring maximum revenue is achieved
●Represent the agency as the first point of contact for prospective clients; over the phone, email and through virtual meetings and presentations
●Ensure that all work and all contact with potential and current clients reflects the culture and mission of the business and meets the highest standards of professionalism
●Proactive management of the prospecting plan in line with the growth plans. Identifying opportunities and events to target prospective clients, in conjunction with the Growth Director.
●Owning and managing opportunities to proposal and pitch, drawing on the support of the wider team's expertise to ensure the best of the business is showcased
●Contributing and providing best practices for end to end sales process for the business, ensuring strong pipeline management processes in place
●Building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor offering deep and worthwhile digital and commercial guidance to help solve their business problems
●Identifying opportunities to further support and grow existing client relationships
●Managing commercial and procurement relationships with large enterprise clients
The ideal candidate:
●Strong consulting or agency background with experience in digital transformation or digital product design - minimum of Senior Manager or Director level
●Demonstrable expertise in winning new business, preferred sector experience in retail / financial service / TMT or consumer sectors
●Demonstrable expertise in building c-suite client relationships
●Strength in developing existing pieces of business and leading the development of new business
●Proven commercial ownership in an agency / consulting environment, including contract and procurement negotiations
●Proven ability to manage and motivate a business development team and work in a multi-disciplinary environment
●A disruptive thinker who feels empowered to challenge client processes and campaign strategies
●Motivated to join a business at a stage of growth and to be integral in driving success, building processes and leading accounts
