Who is Isoline?
Isoline are a fast-growing content marketing agency in the exciting tech B2B niche. Their clients span every sector from medtech to streaming video to IoT, and typically operate deep inside the value chain - so consumers will rarely recognise their names.
Mobile and telecoms is one of their core sectors of expertise. The stream is headed up by company MD, Anu Ramani. They work with a broad range of companies in the space, including infrastructure and services, fraud protection and aggregation.
They're close to the industry, often working on technology that will only see commercial launch after a year or two. They build credible, compelling content to demonstrate that their clients understand and can solve the business and technology challenges that their operator customers face. They don't do PR but their campaigns use social, direct and paid media channels to reach their audiences.
They are committed to providing a work-life balance for their employees. They are fanatical about doing a great job for clients, but not at the cost of their employees. If you're regularly working late then they see this as a failure on their part to resource properly, manage client expectations or provide sufficient account support.
They've always been semi-remote and flexible working options are available. In happier times, the company organises regular social events and activities for staff.
Your role in the agency:
They have an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine desire to help play a key role in the continued growth of their start up agency. They have ambitious plans, are passionate about doing game-changing work for clients and committed to investing in their team to stay at the forefront of the industry.
They're looking for a dynamic, capable Account Director who can head up their telecoms client portfolio.
-Work closely with senior clients on a day-to-day basis, offering counselling, and managing complex, multifaceted campaigns with many moving parts. They have had a very successful few years working with incredibly talented teams of people at their clients and partners so you will be well supported, both with junior team members, and close support from Anu the founder who has a wealth of experience across content, PR and technology.
-Create positioning and strategic messaging, liaise with third-party vendors, lead and manage the team on a day-to-day basis, and support as needed in new client pitches.
-Play an active part in the running of the business, contribute to setting agency strategy and making operational decisions as a member of the senior team. They are very transparent about their plans for Isoline and employees that do really well at the agency are those that take personal responsibility for supporting key areas of the business alongside client work. They love new ideas and enthusiasm, and are very open to changing the way they do things to test new approaches.
Growth and career progression
They're looking for a candidate with the potential to lead their telecoms and mobile practice and higher management responsibilities as part of the executive team.
-Overall responsibility for client portfolio, delivering to agency client charter standards and meeting programme or campaign objectives
-Maintaining strong relationships with all key stakeholders at the client and providing strategic counsel on communications direction
-Account development and growth - spotting and securing client growth opportunities through creative projects, cross selling of services and expansion
-Confidently run new business pitch process: strategy development, ideas creation, presentation building and delivery
-Coaching and training team members to deliver to high agency standards and develop their own relationships with clients and help them shine
-Maintaining high quality writing standards through direct copy writing, training and editing
-Active involvement in networking, online and in person, on behalf of clients and the agency
-In-depth knowledge across the technology market, and contacts and the ability to understand what makes a great content and what tactics can be best used to get outstanding outcomes for clients
What you'll have:
-Proven experience in account servicing managing large content-intensive campaigns, with an agency background
-Experience of delivering integrated content driven marketing campaigns
-Portfolio of big tech/media/telco brand experience
-Experience of delivering successful international programmes
