The Role:
In this role, you will manage all aspects of marketing one of our client's leading brands, with a focus on top- and bottom-line growth. You will drive the strategic direction and growth of this brand by ensuring all key performance indicators are met through the implementation of the marketing business plan and NPD programmes:
*Delivering sales targets through the creation and implementation of a strategic and tactical marketing plan, while keeping track of A&P expenditure
*Working across departments to launch profitable and innovative NPD
*Liaising with the sales team to maintain distribution and the No.1 brand status
The role will also include working with the sales team to produce ongoing, monthly SKU-level forecasts and liaising with other departments to ensure stock availability.
This is a busy role, that will suit an experienced brand manager with B2B experience looking to develop their skills by working on leading healthcare brands spanning both the consumer and pharmacy markets.
Key tasks:
*Lead and implement the (B2B) marketing plan and brand strategy to deliver the agreed sales targets, including setting of marketing and sales KPI's to deliver against
*Management of all elements of the (B2B) marketing mix to maximise performance in the market: product proposition, packaging, distribution, pricing, promotion, product quality and format - managing effectiveness of campaigns to sharpen focus on spend optimisation to deliver ROI
*Management of Advertising, Public Relations, Design and Digital, partnerships and agency relationships. Management of pharmacy trade campaigns. Regularly review collateral so that it is kept up to date and relevant for our key audience.
*Organise events and exhibitions at industry events when required.
*Management of the NPD programme from initial identification of market opportunity to launch (identifying/sourcing new product opportunities) and leading cross functional teams to deliver against project objectives
*Work with the sales team to produce ongoing, monthly SKU-level forecasts and liaise with other departments to ensure stock availability across the brand portfolios
*Work with the sales team/key account managers to provide marketing support materials and promotional support to effectively deliver the marketing strategy to maintain distribution and sustain long term business relationships with key retailers
*Ongoing market research and analysis to monitor market trends, market shares and competitor activity in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of the skincare markets and keep abreast of competitor actions to identify any issues or opportunities and to tailor strategic approach

Required Skills and Qualifications:

*Strong commercial and strategic awareness
*B2B full mix marketing skills/experience
*Portfolio/Product management skills essential with the ability to influence others
*Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
*Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
*High attention to detail
*Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills (balancing day to day requirements with project deadlines and a heavy workload)
*A firm understanding of multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital and social media
*A degree relevant to Marketing, Business, Commerce or in the Life Sciences.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages - Word, Excel, Powerpoint essential.
*Experience within a brand management role in retail ideally grocery or OTC healthcare
