We're looking for an Assistant Brand Manager for our client, based in Huddersfield.
This role would be ideal for a science graduate with an interest in Pharmaceutical Marketing, someone with a background in medical sales and an interest in Pharmaceuticals, or a Marketing graduate with some scientific background experience (e.g. Science A Level or equivalent qualification).

The Role:
*Assist the Senior Brand Manager with the execution of brand plans and achievement of commercial objectives.
*Assist the Senior Brand Manager on the NPD programme and strategy.
*Support in the evaluation and review of the Specialty Pipeline, including forecasting and development of go to market strategy
*Support the development and implementation of brand campaign and materials in the local market, through sales team and channel working.
*Work with other departments to ensure implementation of the brand and pricing strategy.
*Interface with key internal stakeholders including global team developing campaigns, the UK brand team and sales team to implement brand campaigns and successful positioning and launch of new products.
*Deliverables include key marketing campaign items e.g. promotional campaign material, patient training materials, remote detail material, service items, training support, meetings support, materials development, approval, production and assist with presentations for internal and external meetings.
*Assist with the day-to-day management of PR and promotional activities (via external agencies)
*The role will require a detailed understanding of the NHS and how to promote products in line with tenders
*Provide marketing support for the sales teams as required i.e., design promotional materials, implement marketing campaigns.
*Monitor external communications and PR and make recommendations to Senior Brand Manager and digital agency.
*Monitor social media / website pages and make recommendations to Senior Brand Manager and digital agency.
*Analyse and report on brand campaigns, exhibitions, and events.
*Analysis of quantitative and qualitative market research data
*Assist with the management of product stock forecasts and update as required.
*Monitor stock levels and work with planning department to ensure timely release of products.
*Any other work as may be reasonably required.
*Possess a thorough understanding of the provisions of the APBI Code of Practice and internal SOPs, to ensure that the Company's image and reputation is never jeopardised by irresponsible or unethical conduct.
Role accountabilities:
*Contribution towards the delivery of the annual P&L, Contribution and Sales targets.
*Manage budgets and internal processes

Qualifications and Education:
Crucial for the role:
*Degree qualified - Ideally biology/biomedical science or equivalent industry experience
*Strong scientific background and the ability to understand a range of complex therapy areas
*Creative marketing capabilities together with rigorous commercial business sense
Desirable for the role:
*Excellent understanding of the NHS and customer needs for value arguments based on cost-effectiveness
*Some pharmaceutical commercial experience with a strong performance track record - Ideally someone who wants to transition from a sales role into a commercial/marketing role
