Role: Account Director / Digital Strategist (Job Title TBC)

Location: London (hybrid - no set office requirement (predominantly remote)).

Salary: £65K - £80K + Bonus (50% - 100% TBC)

We are headhunting a commercially focused Account Director to join an ambitious, exciting, and fast-growth digital media group focused on digital transformation and product development.

Built on driven, passionate, and experienced team members, they are a forward-looking, innovative company with over 65 years of combined trading history, and an exciting portfolio of clients including Microsoft, BBC, Ricoh, and The Duke of Edinburgh awards.

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and driven Account Director/Digital Strategist to help the agency win new client accounts and grow existing client accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact team and work with world-leading brands and businesses.

Supported by their internal team and external consultants, you will input into strategic development, manage client accounts, find new growth opportunities within existing accounts, assist their new business team in closing new business opportunities, and create engaging pitches and proposals.

This role has a bonus package and is a flexible hybrid role that is predominately remote. This agency actively encourages people from a variety of backgrounds with different experiences, skills, and stories to join the team and influence and develop their working practices.

Responsibilities

  • Account management and client satisfaction.
  • Develop client-specific growth strategies.
  • Identify and develop cross-sell and up-sell growth opportunities.
  • Creating proposals and pitches to a high-quality standard.
  • Lead and coordinate pitching including scoping, technical approach, design, costing, and SOWs.
  • Meet account targets and report to SLT.
  • Work with the marketing department to produce marketing that nurtures account growth.

Essential skills

  • Commercial acumen and professionally assertive.
  • Ability to sell and close.
  • Understanding of digital strategy, products, and services.
  • Proven track record of pitching and converting B2B sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Line and matrix manage people and processes.

Desirable skills

  • Experience of the charity and not-for-profit sector.
  • Process-driven.
  • Agency experience.
  • Possess a creative mindset
