About the Role
Senior Marketing Executive
Location: Manchester City Centre – 4 days in office
Salary: £40k to £45k DOE
Full Time: Permanent
We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Marketing professional to join our client’s professional services firm.
You’ll be working closely with our client’s Director of Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager, and lawyers, playing a key role in building their brand and driving successful campaigns.
We’re after someone who’s confident in leading both online and offline campaigns, delivering to deadlines, and managing events, with strong expertise in digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create marketing materials including leaflets, brochures, and adverts, ensuring brand consistency in collaboration with the design team.
- Organise and manage events, seminars, webinars, corporate hospitality, and conferences, including invitations, responses, and registration.
- Source external event venues and secure quotes for services such as coach hire and restaurant bookings.
- Collaborate with departments to develop standout products and services in the legal market.
- Coordinate legal directory submissions, ensuring timely completion, and contribute to award entries.
- Support the firm’s online presence through SEO, email marketing, and content creation (blogs, articles, etc.).
- Produce digital newsletters and e-shots using the firm’s eMarketing software.
- Work with the digital agency to implement and monitor website campaigns, analyse performance, and recommend improvements.
- Assist with preparing client pitches and presentations.
- Coordinate with the firm's preferred videographer for departmental video projects.
- Maintain accurate departmental contacts in the firm’s CRM with the Database Officer and prepare contact lists for events and newsletters.
- Liaise with preferred suppliers for branded merchandise and printed materials when required.
Key Skills
- Proven marketing experience in a similar B2B or B2C role; professional services experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with clients and stakeholders in a corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, with experience in campaign analytics and performance reporting.
- Ability to build and maintain effective internal relationships at all levels.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing shifting priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent IT skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and familiarity with CRM systems and CMS platforms.
