Video Editor & Content Creator

Full time
£25k - £27k

We're helping the Pinch of Nom team find a talented content creator to join their production team. The content creator will be responsible for creating edits from start to finish for the brand, and any other media video, podcast and radio content assigned to them.

The Role.

This role will be taking charge of multiple projects at once, providing a greater amount of influence/ impact that is usually afforded to a Production Manager in the traditional sense. This role will be varied and fast-paced, but it is also essential you are able to bring to life the stories that are yet to be shared via various social media platforms.

*Filming video content with the Pinch of Nom in-house recipe team at our test kitchen on the Wirral
*Editing video, podcast and/or radio content assigned; both Editorial and Branded/Sponsored
*Working with cross-functional team members to meet deadlines
*Managing, organising, and maintaining all assets related to assigned projects. Opportunity to put in place your own process/procedures
*Ability to help out/jump onto any project or task assigned by the Marketing Director

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a few years' experience as an editor and/or an assistant editor, with basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g. Premier, FCP, After Effects, etc) and good knowledge of filming, capturing footage, and lighting.

You'll have hands-on experience operating filming equipment and a solid understand of (and enthusiasm for!) YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You'll be passionate about learning new things.

Brilliant organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will be essential to the role. You'll also be adaptable, dynamic, and quick-thinking, with the ability to work well under pressure.

Photography skills are desirable, but not essential.
