This role involves relocation to Manchester, North West.
Job Spec:
Job Title: UX & Brand Designer
Business: B2B & B2C Fast Paced Environment , online leisure & sports entertainment business, 70+ staff
Location: Relocation from London to Manchester
Base Salary: £27,000k - £45,000, Depending upon experience
Benefits: 33 days holidays including public holidays, free parking
Type of role: Permanent
Focus of the role:
Working in the product division, your responsibilities will involve mapping, developing customer-centric, data-driven and creative solutions, across web & mobile platforms.
Responsibilities will also include translating customer needs, research findings & business requirements into maps that track end-to-end customer experiences.
Your role will also include supporting the development of creative designs, ensuring the integrity of brand messaging throughout, development of user journeys & empathy & service design maps.
Job Description includes but not limited to:
●Spearheading a data driven design culture alongside a data analyst
●The creation of wireframes and prototypes to demonstrate design thinking
●Production of visuals that demonstrate strong UI and UX understanding
●Assisting in the support of user testing and the undertaking of preliminary research where necessary
●Developing ideas and designs that are customer-centred
●Creating ideas and designs based on customer insights and data which feed into A/B Testing/Optimisation
●Facilitating the exchange of creative ideas across the business
Skills & Background:
Proven experience in the following:
A data driven designer
Strong sense of commercial awareness and is integrated into the UX/Design Market
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary agile team
Drawing and paper Sketching skills
Excellent understanding of typography, imagery and graphic assets
Prototyping skills
Experience of working with brand guidelines and implementing them into UI and design patterns
Use data, research and mapping to create customer insights
Proficient with UX tools and methodologies
Ability to write competitor/design reviews and present them to key stakeholders
