Student Marketing & Communications Executive
Manchester - 5 days week FTC position. (On campus 3 days a week from middle of August, 2 days a week WFH.)
Fixed Term - 18 Months (there may be an opportunity to move elsewhere in the organisation after the contract ends)
Salary: £32,816 to £40,322 per annum DOE

Focus of the role: Comms and Marketing 50:50 split. On the Comms side Internal Comms 30%, External Comms 70%. On the Marketing side you will have proven experience in developing rich media content ( ie video, design, social content). You will also be critical in building a sense of community within the University and increasing student engagement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our friends at a leading educational institution for a Student Communication & Marketing Officer to join their team. Dealing with all teams across the establishment you will be responsible for a variety of activities in relation to the early opening and operation of a new engineering campus from September 2021.
You will be a focused and caring individual who will have the needs of the student experience at the heart of everything you do. Communication is key as you are taking a collaborative approach and amongst different departments to ensure the successful competition of all priorities and projects.
The Role:
* Oversee individuals and teams as required.
* Manage student communications and requirements including allocating tasks, targets, feedback, and training.
* Create and develop presentations and training resources
* Work on recruitment campaigns as well as attend and support recruitment events
* Contribute to the overall development of the student recruitment strategy and ensuring this can be supported with appropriate data.
* To help develop marketing strategies to increase publicity and awareness of the new campus and what is available.
* To communicate with other departments and colleagues to enforce an accurate range of content and a clear message.
* To assess potential risks and issues in support of student orientation, and ensuring this is communicated clearly.
* Maintain targets and promote a hard-working team atmosphere
You:
* Significant experience in engagement campaigns.
* Knowledge of Adobe creative suite, CRM (MS dynamics) and CMS systems (Sitecore, T4).
* To hold, or be willing to work towards, a marketing qualification.
* Experience of delivering exceptional customer service.
* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
* Understanding a range of communication methods including copywriting, websites, face-to-face, social media, and end-to-end campaigns.
* Proven ability to manage and develop people while maintain clear objectives and performance goals.
* Our client is open on background client side and agency candidates with relevant experience will be considered. If you have had experience working with students before this would be an advantage
