We're helping the award-winning team at a dynamic agency find an experienced SEO Lead to join their growing digital marketing arm. The focus of this role is link building, onpage, offpage, SEO strategy, feature snippets and mark up. Three Junior direct reports, office based for the first 2 months then WFH options up to 30% of the week in line with business needs.
The Role:
In this role, you'll take responsibility for devising and implementing SEO strategies designed to drive business and develop organic exposure for new and existing clients. You'll be responsible for the planning and delivery of digital marketing campaigns for new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
*Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their requirements
*Delivering the marketing strategy for new and existing clients
*Take lead of relationship building with new Marketing clients
*Competitor Research
*Responsible for ensuring each SEO campaign is undertaken within a search-friendly technical environment
*Optimisation of campaigns to achieve maximum success in terms of ROI and longevity in rankings,
*Providing technical analysis and assisting the sales team in new business pitches, campaign analysis
*Writing technical SEO reports for clients and providing clear recommendations on SEO best practice
*Working alongside agency colleagues to suggest campaign plans that meet the client's brief and budget Supporting client meetings
*Content creation / copy checking / proof reading
*Regularly monitor and report on the success of campaigns
*Work closely with and have a good understanding of User Experience
*Be at the forefront of SEO trends

Who are we looking for?
This role demands a strong commercial acumen, an understanding of the full digital marketing mix (SEO, PPC, Email, Paid and earned social), strong management and leadership credentials, a strong work ethic, a true commitment to excellent client care, and a true "ideas person".
You'll have clear and demonstrable experience of undertaking all on-page SEO activity, Technical SEO environment improvements off-site, link building, performance analysis, as well as be familiar with industry tools and Google Analytics, and a personal hunger to stay abreast of developing trends within the industry.
This position would suit an individual with a good work ethic, and attention to detail, with sound commercial awareness and the ability to hit the ground running. The ability to manage multiple clients and have strong organisational skills is a must.
Required Skills:
*Proven experience in a similar marketing position, ideally within an agency
*Technical SEO implementation experience
*Technical SEO Audits and plan next steps
*Strong knowledge of reporting and analysis tools
*Able to lead and support sales meeting and initiatives
*Strong data analysis, numerical and research skills
*Able to lead and guide the marketing team and delegate tasks as required
*Team leadership qualities
Key Characteristics:
*Fluent in standard SEO research tools: Search Metrics, SEM Rush Ahrefs, Majestic, Similar Web, Keyword tools, Open site explorer
*Strong IT skills Solid experience in Google Analytics
*Ability to interpret & identify clients' needs/requirements
*Attention to detail
*Strong technical SEO experience
*Articulate and persuasive
*Leadership Qualities.
