Our client is a multi award winning agency launched over 10 years ago and they design and implement high profile campaigns for a wealth of international clients across a range of sectors that include Ad:Tech, Ed:Tech, Security, Travel:Tech as well as a number of consumer tech products. The size of their clients varies from US publicly traded giants, through to smaller entrepreneurial start-up's.

The Founder is supported by a team of 15+ professionals that include a 4x person management
team, made up of Account Managers & Senior Account Managers. Supporting this level is a
number of talented Account Exec's and Senior Account Executives.

The culture is fast paced, entrepreneurial and exciting. Staff perks include early finish Fridays, free beer fridge all Friday afternoons, 4x team parties per year (Christmas, Summer, St Patrick's Day, Halloween) as well as complimentary breakfast all year and regular unprompted socials.

Every member of the team is part of the CIPR and has either achieved or is working towards
becoming professionally chartered. The agency is also proud to be a founding member of the
national 'PRCA Internships For All' scheme and takes one placement student from
Bournemouth University each year.

At the start of 2020, our client also launched a 4x point sustainability plan that involves a) all business flights carbon offset, b) single use reusable plastic is banned from the office, c) every staff member has been purchased a Chillies Reusable Bottle , d) each member of the management team is signed-up to Offset Earth , meaning the agency will be responsible for planting 48+ new trees every month.

The Founder has a second business focussed on research and events which operates as a
separate legal entity. This business has seen significant growth over the past few years.
As-a-result, the founder wishes to appoint a talented Managing Director so he can step-back
from the day-to-day running of the agency and focus on his second business.

This role will suit a senior agency PR professional (from Associate Director and above) who's interested in running a well established and respected small agency.

The successful candidate will have support from the agency owner and will ensure the
continued smooth running of the business while also helping to drive growth. The Ideal
candidate will:

● Need senior team experience in a respectable agency (Associate Director or above)
● Have a strong track record of managing and mentoring junior and mid-level staff
● Have client experience with B2C and B2B campaigns across a wide range of sectors
● Need a strong track record of leading teams through successful new business pitches
● Have a serious passion for helping to grow a business by winning new clients while
growing client accounts
● Join Board Meetings with the owner & chairman
