Job description

Learning and Development Manager - Manchester - Upto £60k - Permanent

Are you a passionate and highly motivated Learning and Development Manager who thrives on building and shaping an L&D offering from scratch?

We are excited to be supporting this successful high growth tech business in the North West to recruit their first L&D specialist. Joining a fabulous HR team who are driven and extremely collaborative, you will be the go to expert for all things Learning and Development. The business has grown significantly due to investment and a number of acquisitions, and L&D is front of mind for them as they look to the future.

As their first Learning and Development hire, there are a couple of main areas they would like this person to focus on, early years assessment centre and development academies for sales and technical roles, and new hire inductions. While fairly 'straight forward' programmes, they are looking for a strong bias towards innovation and creativity in terms of how these are led. They are a high energy, non hierarchical business with a workforce that likes to have fun and enjoy being at work, and they would very much like to see this ethos embodied in the L&D offering. The service they provide to their clients is high touch, bespoke and creative, therefore the internal employee experience should reflect this.

With access to and buy in from the Exec team, this role will be high profile and you will be able to flex your creative muscles in an environment that values deep expert knowledge. With a varied L&D toolkit to hand, you will be experienced in developing programmes for early years talent, including assessment centres, and will be comfortable in a role that has responsibility for the full L&D cycle from TNA through to design, delivery and evaluation.

With office locations across the UK, they are looking to develop a Learning hub in the Manchester area, therefore you will ideally be commutable on a regular basis to Manchester, also they do work flexibly.
