Job description

HR Advisor - South Manchester - 12 month FTC - c£35k - £40k doe plus bens

This business is a high growth professional services business based in South Manchester. They have ambitious growth plans and are continuing to establish a robust HR infrastructure as the business evolves. While the role is to cover a period of maternity leave, this isn't just a maintenance role, there will be plenty of projects to get stuck into!

Working as part of the HR team, this will be a true generalist role, with lots of exposure to senior leaders across the business. Some key projects will focus around the roll out of a new performance system and framework, including managing the associated cultural change. They are also incredibly passionate about wellbeing so a focus on this will also be high on the agenda. While the ER caseload is light, they are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in employment law, and able to provide sound and credible advice and guidance to senior leaders.

The right candidate for this role will have demonstrable previous HR Advisory experience in a busy and commercial environment. You will love being kept busy, and will be keen to take the lead on projects where appropriate, and support the wider team too. You will ideally be immediately available or on a short notice period, able to start a new role in mid to late April.

This role is based in South Manchester and while they operate a hybrid model, they do ask for a 5 day a week presence on site during the induction period to support you in getting to know the stakeholders and the business.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
