Head of Marketing & Communications

Full Time (Hybrid) 3 days a week in the office, 2 days a week wfh

Location: Warrington

Company: Large consultancy - 500 employees (B2B & B2C)

Base Salary: £74k - £100k

6 months FTC with a strong likelihood to go permanent for a successful candidate

Are you an experienced Head of Marketing or Communications looking for an exciting new role? If so, we have the perfect role for you. This is a strategic role within the organisation and would suit an experienced marketing generalist who has a focus on communications.

The role:

  • To lead the Group communications and marketing strategy (both internal & external) - ensuring that all communications are led centrally in line with Group strategy
  • To lead a team of nine, covering external comms, internal comms, digital, CX & research and PR, providing clear direction and support.
  • To work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to maintain the Group corporate identities and tone of voice.
  • To identify and implement ways of increasing reach and reputation in a highly targeted way - using a customer focused and segmented multi-channel approach
  • To support the development of a number of thought leadership campaigns to support each business unit, ensuring that messages align with public affairs activity
  • To work collaboratively with the Policy & Public Affairs team to ensure all communications are coordinated
  • Lead the communications team, building capability to identify and apply insight, develop and implement innovative and effective communication plans
