My client a global legal services firm renowned for innovation are looking to recruit a Head of Business Development in AMT is to support the sector leadership team in defining and executing strategic business development focus. Focusing upon the sector's strengths and opportunities you will have responsibility for supporting Partners to develop client relationships, global reputation and new revenue streams. You will work with the wider Business Development Leadership team to ensure that strategy aligns with firmwide strategy.
Key responsibilities:
*Drive strategic direction for business development activity for the sector, one of the firm's 5 global sectors. Work with the Sector Head of AMT to define the sector's global vision and strategy and to execute it.
*Actively pursue collaborative working between Groups and Sectors
*Sit on the AMT Management Committee, supporting Partners by bringing ideas to enhance client relationships, reputation and revenue for the whole sector
*Drive and deliver global collaboration in all BD activity
*Supporting the BD Manager in prioritising the allocation of resource ,managing expectations of partners where necessary
*Supporting the Sector Head of AMT through presentations or panel sessions, ensuring that they are fully briefed and prepared to relay key messages
*Act as liaison across the firm to benefit AMT client relationships or BD initiatives. developing an internal network to support building the community of lawyers that work for the sector clients
*Day to day management and support of one Client Relationship Manager (CRM) and one BD Manager
*Supporting the sector CRM to maximise relationships with the sector's most strategically important clients
*Ensure that the BD team are delivering the most effective thought leadership campaigns as a primary route to generating reputation and profile
The successful candidate will have:
*Extensive marketing and business development experience in a professional services environment, ideally within legal services
*Strong knowledge of global business development requirements
*Track record of managing multiple senior stakeholders
*Track record in delivering business development projects
