Employee Relations Specialist

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Employee Relations Case Manager to work within a busy People Team for a market leading client. This is a great opportunity to join an organisation who are keen to develop talent and work collaboratively.
You will handle escalated and complex employee relations cases ensuring they are handled fairly and with empathy, while also adhering to UK employment law. Coaching managers will be a key part of this role, and you will but firm but fair in encouraging them to take ownership of issues in their areas, providing them with all the information and tools required to do so effectively.
Crucial to your success will be your ability to use your highly honed coaching skills to support managers in best-practice people management including the handling of disciplinary, absence, attendance and probationary issues to ensure that Managers feel supported and empowered to manage their teams.
CIPD qualified you will be highly skilled at dealing with high volume and complex ER cases. You will need to have previous experience providing HR advice in a shared service environment.
Due to the urgency of the role candidates must be available to start immediately or at short notice and able to commit to a 5 month contract.
