Digital Solutions Product Manager

Greater/South Manchester (2 days a week WFH, 2 days in the office, 1 day a week either home/office depending on business needs)
Full time
£60k - £80k base DOE
Focus of the role: This is a large very brand focused FMCG business undergoing transformation cultural change to ensure that they are business ready on the digital side. The focus of the role is project management communications. This will include awareness through social channels, managing the digital shelf, optimising the ecommerce experience, direct ordering online, through to loyalty and consumer retention. You will manage a team directly, but also be required to work closely with key disciplines within the function to leverage capabilities within those areas to drive delivery of the solutions. You are the 'go-to' person that the business will work with the exploration, delivery and operational running across the Digital Solutions. This role allows the individual to mix a special blend across Business partnering, Solution Portfolio management, Innovation and Industry expertise and delivery.
Business Function: The Digital Solutions team is an Integral part of the Global IT Team accountable for the delivery of Strategy, Security, Service, Infrastructure, Digital Workplace and the Digital Solutions provision.


The responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
*Managing the digital marketing technology estate, ensuring success measures are met and align to IT principles and wider business strategy
*Enabling market requirements through digital technologies and experiences
*Identifying opportunities to improve current digital services and capitalising on further digital solutions for customers and consumers
*Work with the change team to deliver digital projects that improve the customer experience
*Coordinate product data management, including the improved digitisation of product catalogue and the digital shelf
*Planning Digital horizons
*Key relationships and people management
*Delivery & Design
*Financial/Commercial and Risk
*Business Improvement

Who is the ideal candidate?
You will have a passion for digital with a full in-depth understanding of the end to end consumer journey. You drive and deliver exceptional consumer and employee experiences across all consumer touchpoints, harnessing the power of the Digital Solutions technologies.
Proven experience in the digital marketing technology strategy field.
*Programme management essential to deliver multiple projects across all markets and successfully managing demand of projects and BAU.
*Project management skills essential including experience of successfully delivering multiple projects, managing deadlines, budgets and planning tasks across multiple resources, using agile methodologies such as Jira/Azure DevOps
*Possess working experience in digital marketing technology, solutions and roadmaps inc. website development, intranet, e-commerce (B2B and D2C), loyalty, digital marketing, mobile and data-driven insights
*Proven track record of delivering and supporting digital marketing technologies inc. CMS (WordPress), CRM, PXM/PIM, SEO, UGC
*Experience in developing digital solution documentation including consumer journey mapping, sitemaps, IA, wireframes and training plans

The role does not warrant the successful candidate to be uber technical. Ability to influence stakeholders and make a credible impact.
You will shape the offering, meet business needs, provide end to end solutions and manage the "art of the possible".
FMCG or relatable experience an advantage.
Client side candidates or Agency candidates preferred. If Agency background candidates should have digital project management with FMCG or relatable sector experience with Agile.
