Business Development Manager

Full Time

Location: Huddersfield

Salary: Up to £50k DOE + car allowance + pension + up to 10% performance bonus

Hybrid: 3 days in the 2 days wfh (although there is flex around this for people with a longer commute)

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking for an exciting new role with a great and respected company? Someone with a passion for Consumer Health and a proactive drive for business development. If so, we have a fantastic new role for you! This role involves developing new key contacts and routes of finding new pharma products. It has 3 focuses 1) Acquisition 2) Brands 3) In-Licensing (other manufacturers - new sources for product). You will have great interpersonal skills and also be confident with numbers and gap analysis figures etc.

The Role:

  • Manage UK Business Development for the Consumer Health Division
  • Target and Deliver In-Licensing and Acquisitions that will help the company grow
  • Work with Stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic opportunities
  • Commercially headhunt opportunities in the company market
  • Establish and build contacts with external stakeholders
  • To manage and develop team members and conduct annual performance reviews
  • Track and produce monthly reports
  • Manage a business development budget

You:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Degree educated in a Life Sciences, Mathematical or Business Degree
  • Proven track record of previous successes
  • Highly Productive and Positive
  • Self starter as initial this role is standalone
  • Good Financial and Analytical Skills
  • Able to develop and manage staff
  • Strategic focus and able to balance operational delivery and execution
  • Great Negotiation Skills
  • Sales and/or key Account Management experience
  • Pharma, healthcare of FMCG experience
