Web Development Jobs

In general terms, web development is a term given to any work involving the development of a website for the internet. This can include web design, client-side/server-side scripting, initial design work, server and security configuration and content management system creation.

Professionally speaking, however, web development more specifically describes the core non-design aspects of a website project: writing markup and coding for different web pages and the functions that they possess.

It is an industry that continues to grow and advance year-on-year with boundaries and capabilities expanding all the time. With this industry growth comes the introduction of new technology and new functionalities, some of which possess serious benefits for ecommerce businesses.
