That being said, there is currently a large skills shortage for design, development and programming roles across the country so there are plenty of opportunities for those with the correct qualifications.

Working in Web Development offers plenty of opportunity for expansion into different areas. Rather than just sticking to one thing, you can begin to specialise in, say, Javascript to focus your efforts on that programming language.

Typically, offices will permit a relaxed dress code for day-to-day work although when meeting a client for a project update, or kick-off meeting, you will often be asked to dress more formally.
