We are on the lookout for a Head of Revenue & Commercial Optimisation to act as a primary commercial advisor to our client’s CEO. You will lead the charge on pricing strategy and dynamic capacity allocation, turning complex booking data into high-impact results. This is a high-influence position requiring a unique blend of technical yield management skills and the ability to drive operational change across the business.
Our client is a high-growth leader in the UK leisure and adventure tourism sector, operating a diverse portfolio of unique outdoor attractions and multi-site visitor experiences.
The Role:
· Own and evolve the group’s dynamic pricing strategy across all activities, lodging, and seasonal packages.
· Build and deploy sophisticated models to maximise yield, accounting for seasonality, weather sensitivity, and demand peaks.
· Drive secondary spend strategies across F&B, merchandise, and add-ons to increase total revenue per visitor.
· Act as the primary decision-maker for the live booking calendar, managing real-time capacity release and tactical responses to fluctuations.
· Partner with Marketing to launch targeted campaigns and tactical offers that fill identified capacity gaps in real time.
· Coordinate with site teams to ensure staffing and resources are aligned with capacity adjustments and demand forecasts.
· Develop real-time reporting tools and KPIs (e.g., Utilisation, RevPAS, AOV) to provide the CEO and Board with clear visibility on commercial health.
· Support budgeting with robust, demand-led modelling and surfacing commercial opportunities through deep-dive analysis.
Skills we are looking for:
Essential
· Proven background in revenue management or yield optimisation, ideally within leisure, tourism, hospitality, or any bookable-inventory sector.
· Expert at interpreting demand forecasts and performance models to build robust pricing frameworks.
· Highly proficient in data tools (Excel/Google Sheets) and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) to drive commercial insights.
· Hands-on experience configuring booking management systems to support commercial goals.
Desirable
· Experience across multi-site leisure or high-volume visitor attractions.
· Familiarity with specialist dynamic pricing platforms or revenue management software.
· Previous experience presenting commercial strategy at Board or Investor level.
To achieve the upper end of the salary bracket, you will be a seasoned commercial leader with a proven track record of driving yield in high-growth environments, possessing the strategic authority to take full ownership of the revenue function.
