Are you looking to accelerate your career and become part of an award-winning, international advertising agency?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced developer to join the team of an outstanding full-service agency, who produce award winning, technically innovative retail design projects for some of the largest brands in the world. You would be located in the Newbury office, but the business also has other sites in London, Amsterdam and Bath. You need to have solid experience with OOP PHP, MVC design pattern, MySQL, HTML, SCSS/CSS, responsive web development, JavaScript/jQuery with knowledge of SVG, XML, JSON, and GIT versioning. You should have strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and code efficiency.

The role will give you the opportunity to be involved in all areas of the development from feature planning to implementation and deployment working in a small and technically focused team with this busy agency which loves innovation, experimentation and providing their people the opportunity to grow and utilise their skills and talents.

Essential experience:
*Experience using the following: PHP (OOP) with MVC, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, SCSS/CSS (responsive), SVG (snapsvg), XML & JSON.
*A minimum of 3 years' experience using the majority of these tools/platforms with MVC and OOP projects.
*GIT (branching, versioning, merging).
*General office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Desirable experience:
*A good understanding of vector and bitmap graphics; Photoshop & Illustrator
*Exposure to Joomla (and some WordPress) would be useful but not essential.
*Some understanding of LAMP (Linux Apache, MySQL, PHP) would be of benefit.
*An understanding of HTML5 banner creation would be a nice to have.
*Worked with a project management tool such as Jira for issue tracking
*An understanding of Excel and PDF as the PHP code outputs both of these file types.
