Product Development Director - Manchester - £90,000 to £130,000 basic + plus bonus&package

This business is billionaire backed with an A list of Tech and Fintech Investors. The business is now pivoting with newly developing technology for the retail and banking sectors and is now seeking a new Product Development Director to lead on the new Tech advancements that will take this business to the next level.

The role of the Product Development Director will be to drive innovation working very closely with the Business Development team and internal Tech team within the business in Manchester. You will also have the freedom to bring in whatever resource is required to fulfill the developments required.

A broad range of Tech experience is required with a commercial focus, prioritising opportunities both internally and externally. Leveraging focus groups, surveys, sales team and customer visits to validate and enhance potential solutions. You will have a strong influence on the direction of the business, reporting directly to the CEO and owner.

Your experience ideally will include a Computer Science background with evidence of a strong foundation in Developer/Architect type roles, Proven experience in innovative software product delivery, ideally in a B2B Tech/FinTech environment. Experience of working in the Digital Banking industry would be hugely advantageous. Have a proven track record of delivering successful, user-oriented products.

This role is extremely exciting due to its wide breadth of activity and potential for the candidate. We are working on a retained basis with the client and it is under an NDA initially so it will be completely confidential.
