Job Title: Lead Product Manager/Senior Product Manager
Base salary £50k-circa £57k, OTE early -mid £60s
Location: North West. 2-3 days a week in the office & balance WFH
Focus of the role: Mix of Product and Tech

Main Purpose of Role Working within the Marketing and Lead Generation team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this is the first Product Management role in the organisation. The team play a leading role in not only driving new business revenues across the organisation's core SME base and key account mid-corporate market, but also in maximising the life time value of existing clients. As the Senior Product Manager, your role will be to drive and own the roadmap, vision and go-to-market communication for the organisation's products. You will work with the operational heads across the divisions to refine their existing product propositions and develop new products that will support the growth strategy in target markets. You will work alongside the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that the organisation deliver great experiences that are communicated to the right audiences with the right message.

A key measure will be ensuring differentiation in their key markets for the products via indepth market analysis and client obsession.
Main Duties and Responsibilities * Define product management and product marketing best practices to ensure the organisation's differentiation in key markets and that client obsession/insight is a major input into the strategic roadmap * Provide thought leadership and drive development of the future of product thinking across the organisation, to support an outside in, test and learn culture of innovation * Own the employment law and health and safety product roadmap and ensure it is built to deliver the most important items for the organisation; those having highest impact on client, those delivering strongest commercial return, and those providing strategic differentiation * Work with key external partners to improve strategic and tactical approaches to market, applying best practice and exploiting innovation * Work closely with the marketing, sales, account management and service delivery heads to develop relevant, engaging propositions and ensure our products are positioned appropriately in every client contact, to increase awareness, consideration, acquisition and loyalty

Skills * Ability to manage products through the entire product lifecycle * Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, with the influencing skills to have a strong impact on the success of the organisation * Strategic thinker with proven ability to translate concepts on a product roadmap into specific initiatives that are delivered and have the desired business impact * Proven track record of successful management of transformational client-led change * Ability to balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with technical, business and commercial experts Experience & Knowledge * Product breadth: Excellent understanding of end-to-end product life-cycle in a fast paced, agile world * Product depth: Experienced in product management, agile processes, insight and analytics, customer relationship management, marketing communications and ideation
