Internal Communications Executive

Location: Salford

Full Time: Permanent

Salary: £30k to £35k plus company benefits and bonus

We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Communications Executive to join our client's marketing team in Manchester. As a market-leading provider of environmental, maintenance, and engineering services, our client is committed to creating a cleaner, safer future. In this role, you will ensure their vision and values are communicated effectively across the business.

The Role:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive internal communications framework to ensure effective and timely information sharing.
  • Compile and distribute health & safety bulletins, keeping employees informed of updates and best practices.
  • Develop and distribute monthly newsletters featuring company news, achievements, and updates.
  • Curate content for quarterly communications meetings to ensure relevant information is effectively presented.
  • Manage and maintain the company's SharePoint intranet, ensuring it is user-friendly and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with HR to draft and update company policies and procedures for clear communication.
  • Curate content that promotes a positive company culture and keeps employees engaged.
  • Support HR and managers with initiatives that foster unity and engagement within the company.

Who are we looking for?

  • internal communications or public relations experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field (desirable)
  • Enthusiastic and curious individual who thrives in team environments.
  • Skilled in content curation for internal communications.
  • Strong ability to think strategically and develop processes for consistent outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with experience in SharePoint or similar intranet platforms.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work across departments and organisational levels.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
