Interim Marketing and Development Manager | Professional Services
My client is a high profile professional firm with a reputation for innovation and exceptional client service. They are looking to recruit a Regional BDM for a 9 month Fixed Term contract covering the West Yorkshire region. Working with the wider team of specialists from across the business they will deliver the divisional strategy, facilitate the go-to-market approach through key sectors by becoming a trusted account manager for the division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to decide what the 'hot topics' or areas of specialist knowledge should be promoting through the year and the best format for promotion
- Design and manage campaigns/activities throughout the year, planning follow-up activity, working within defined budgets and tracking return on investment
- Work with the divisional leadership to develop/update business plans, client targeting and conversion, driving greater focus and impact
- Responsibility for Client Relationship Management of between 2 and 5 key clients
- General profile raising internally (at regular sector / other divisional meetings) and externally (at events etc.)
- Lead relevant pitch opportunities / working with the bids teams where relevant
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
- Experience of working with specialist teams across BD and Marketing to achieve objectives
- Experience of managing teams and delegating work
- Able to bring people together from multiple sectors/service lines to align support for BD projects
- Excellent relationship management skills able to manage senior leadership, other colleagues and externally
- Experience of the property/infrastructure arena highly beneficial however a strong background in professional services BD equally beneficial
