HR Shared services manager
Job description
This HR Shared Services Manager role is a key hire for this high performance, fast growth business. Think medium-sized business, think acquisitive, think market leader. The HR function is undergoing an "overhaul" to be future fit, and this role will focus on transforming HR service delivery, improving processes, and enhancing the employee experience.
As HR Shared Services Manager, you will build & lead a team that manages HR operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring efficient service delivery, spearheading process improvements, and integrating technology solutions to drive performance.
What will you be doing?
Here's a snapshot of what the role will involve:-
- Ensure a strong team dynamic, and promote a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, and foster continuous improvement by encouraging innovative thinking.
- Identify opportunities to optimise efficient & effective HR process.
- Employee lifecycle management including benefits administration.
- Develop SLAs to ensure consistent HR service standards across the organisation.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement solutions that enhance accuracy, reduce errors, and improve employee satisfaction.
- Work closely with others to align HR service delivery with strategic goals.
- Leverage HRIS and other HR technologies to streamline workflows, staying one step ahead of the latest HR technologies and recommending solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and legal requirements, and ensure compliance across HR services.
- Serve as a champion for employee satisfaction and engagement by providing excellent HR service.

You know what good looks like in a highly effective HR operations/shared services function, and will have had first-hand experience of successfully aligning HR operations with organisational objectives. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, however in reality you'll be required to be on-site initially (Warrington) for 4 days/week. Once you've made headway, the hybrid arrangement will be 3 days/week on-site.
Salary is circa £65,000 + package.
