A close-knit, owner managed business truly driven by providing a first-class service to their clients' and rewarding employees for hard work. They require a part time HR and Compliance Manager to own the all-encompassing people strategy with a value-add and commercially astute service.

The organisation is rapidly evolving with change projects impacting people, culture and engagement. The HR Manager will be pivotal and integral to their ongoing success.

The role

In this standalone HR role, you will be the go-to person for all people matters and responsible for all compliance and administrative tasks. Visibility is key and you will be expected to work part time hours across 4/5 days.

Acting as an ambassador to promote compliance awareness and good practice you will ensure company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law. Ensuring line managers are up to date with changes and provide guidance on topics such as IR35 and GDPR.

Providing direction, support and practical training to managers you will enable them to effectively deal with all people matters. Understanding key business drivers, you will deliver value add initiatives which will impact the bottom line and support the ambitious growth plans.

The candidate

CIPD qualified you will be a proven HR generalist with a minimum of 4 years experience. Previous experience working for an organisation in transitional growth and working in partnership with key stakeholders is essential, you will need to be resilient and able to challenge the status quo.

We are seeking a confident leader with a compassionate approach and strong stakeholder management, able to effectively communicate and influence. Confident in your employment law knowledge, you will be well equipped in dealing with all Employee Relations matters.
