HR Manager - Manchester - Permanent - £40,000 to £45,000

The business

A multi site service business with roots in Manchester, they have a fabulously quirky and fun brand which is reflected by their positive and supportive culture. Highly entrepreneurial, you will report directly into the CEO with exposure to the Exec Board and leadership teams.

The role

As HR Manager in this business, you will own and drive the HR Strategy, taking on a completely generalist role incorporating ER, Recruitment, L&D, Reward and Engagement. You'll be the go to person for all things HR across the business, and will work closely with Managers to ensure they have the tools and know how to manage their teams on a day to day basis. This role will be highly operational therefore you'll be happy rolling your sleeves up and travelling between sites (when restrictions allow).

The person

We are looking for someone to is ready to embrace a challenge and take on a HR role which is visible, and closely aligned to the Exec team. You must demonstrate previous HR experience, ideally gained from a multi site service sector such as hospitality or retail. Attention to detail is critical in this role as you will lead on employee comms and must be able to demonstrate quality in your work. You will be happy with some weekly travel, although this will be balanced with time at the Manchester office and working from home.
