 Are you a senior HR generalist looking for a fresh challenge?

This Head of HR role represents a unique opportunity to join a well-known heritage brand to help support the next stage of their journey. With a focus on enhancing operational capability, they seek a true HR leader to understand the current business state, and drive an effective HR service which embraces commercial ambitions and seeks to protect and strengthen the business.

As Head of HR, this role will work in synergy with the senior leadership team to drive and implement a commercial, value added HR service. Fostering a culture of high standards, you will provide effective leadership and motivation of a HR team in order to deliver a customer centric HR service, providing the very best outcomes for the organisation and employees.

This first class opportunity represents a full generalist senior HR role, with a key focus on driving industry leading, best practice HR procedures & processes, challenging current state to ensure continuous improvement and leading and developing projects that will support future organisational design. Ultimately though, there will be a back to basics programme ensuring the basics are done brilliantly and then build out from there.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of developing, implementing & delivering operational excellence in HR within a multi-site, unionised, fast moving manufacturing environment. You will combine an understanding of people and human behaviours with the need for systems-driven performance, genuinely wanting what is best for the organisation. Detail focused and data savvy, you will be particularly adept at designing and implementing effective, commercial HR solutions that deliver tangible bottom line results. Experience of motivating and leading a team and managing and driving positive culture change to drive employee engagement is key.

Due to the nature of the business, this role is offered as an office based role, and there will be travel to other local sites.
