Commercial Director - Digital Transformation

Our client is looking to hire a Commercial Director - Digital Transformation to drive business growth of customer experience led digital technologies and services within the UK.

The role will be based in our client's Experience Design studio in central London, but the successful candidate will have some flexibility to work from home.

You will be responsible for identifying and leading large scale sales opportunities with multi-national corporate clients across multiple sectors, managing pitch and competitive bid process for multi-million pound contracts, and creating long term valuable client relationship, positioning the client as Digital Transformation partner of record for major clients.

This involves being the "first feet on the ground" with clients, identifying the opportunity, building out the practice, gaining market traction and helping clients secure internal support and funding for growth after initial wins.

Our client is committed to customer-led digital transformation, where customer experience and deep human behavioral insight is used to drive the use of digital technologies to meet the genuine needs of customers, and improve the commercial outcomes for our clients.

The successful candidate will have a detailed appreciation of UX and Experience Design, and how this helps define the priorities and roadmap for adoption of new and emerging technologies to enable the delivery of a differentiated customer experience.

Also, the candidate needs to have good technical knowledge and experience of creating solutions for client problems drawing on platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and other partner technologies.

It is preferable that the successful candidate will have spent time working in design and build agencies, such as Sapient, LBI, Razorfish etc and/or Digital Consultancy businesses such as Deloite Digital, Accenture Digital or IMB interactive. Experience working with Systems Integrators is also advantageous.
