Apprenticeship Specialist
£38,000-£44,000 doe + great benefits
Hybrid working, ideally Manchester or Midlands based

We're on the lookout for an ambitious Apprenticeship Specialist for our client, a well-established market leader within their highly commercial & fast paced services industry. The business is looking to supplement their Learning delivery function with this key hire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Apprenticeship Specialist to join a high preforming and innovative organisation to manage all internally delivered Apprenticeship Programmes.

The role:

As Apprenticeship Specialist you will be responsible for managing and delivering end to end on all internally delivered Apprentice and Operational Upskill Programme activity, ensuring that all OFSTED and internal/external requirements are met whilst working towards becoming an award-winning Apprenticeship provider of choice.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Levy funds for all Apprenticeships
  • Direct line management of a team of Assessors
  • Developing the Assessment team and related processes
  • Planning and facilitating key activities including celebration events, apprentice reviews

You'll be joining a large dedicated HR team and supporting the Learning function responsible for the effective delivery of the employee learning cycle, coming up with creative and innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate:

You'll have previous experience managing and developing Apprenticeship Programmes, ideally within a multifaceted and highly operational business. With previous line management experience you'll have the ability to lead and drive your team, an expert communicator you will have gravitas and confidence when communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.

A high level of knowledge and understanding of Apprenticeship programmes, funding streams and OFSTED requirements is essential. You'll have excellent knowledge and ability in the use of online and digital technologies to enhance the end user experience and provide accurate and informative data and MI. You will need to have excellent planning and time management capability, with the ability to prioritise appropriately. We're looking for someone who is engaging and collaborative, with an innovative and pragmatic approach.
