Prior to joining Adam I’ve been lucky enough to work in some great businesses – mainly large corporates, specialising in HR recruitment for the past 16 years (with a brief detour in internal recruitment!). Joining Adam allowed me to bring together all this experience and gave me the autonomy to continue to develop my career with the benefit of a great brand and fabulous support. 

Recruiting across the HR discipline, at the mid to senior / Exec level I aim to above all be honest and consultative in how I deal with people – candidates and clients alike, always being aware that the two are not independent of each other!

The reasons I went into recruitment and why I’m still in it vary wildly! Being completely honest as a single, 24 year old living in the City Centre I knew little about the sector but was drawn to the opportunity to earn commission! Now that is a bonus (excuse the pun) of a job well done. I love the satisfaction of working with a client to find them the right person to help them push their plans and business forward, and I love being a part of helping people move their careers along – it’s genuinely rewarding to see people reach their goals knowing I played a small part in their journey.

Outside of work I have a little boy who keeps me on my toes! I also enjoy running (slowly) and have recently started tap dancing classes.  Reading is a real passion too (when I get chance) – I’ll read anything and everything from books on travel to crime and chick lit!  Finally we are gradually renovating our home so weekends are often taken up trawling the internet for bright ideas!
