Senior Technical Sales Executive
Location: Manchester
Salary: £50k to £55K DOE plus bonus
Full time: Permanent
Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Technical Sales Executive to lead our client’s B2B growth by building powerful, long-term relationships with the world's leading sports organisations. You will be instrumental in shaping their commercial strategy, achieving ambitious targets, and influencing product development by acting as the voice of the customer in a global market.
The Role:
- Own the development and implementation of a data-driven sales strategy designed to meet and exceed all quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
- Proactively identify, engage, and convert high-value leads within professional sports organisations globally, managing the full sales cycle from first contact to close.
- Deliver expert technical demonstrations, tailored proposals, and outstanding service to build trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM, providing clear visibility with regular, insightful performance reports and forecasts.
- Work closely with leadership, marketing, and product teams to ensure sales initiatives are fully aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Gather and analyse market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product development and maintain a competitive edge.
- Act as a key ambassador for our client, representing the company professionally at international trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Who we are looking for:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a consistent record of exceeding targets in a technical sector (e.g., sports tech, health tech, medical devices).
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle in a consultative, solution-focused manner, with direct experience selling into elite sports or performance health organisations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working independently to drive results.
- Advanced proficiency in CRM software and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- A relevant degree is preferred; international sales experience is highly desirable.
