New Business Director

Duties and Responsibilities
Drive sales and be responsible for converting and closing opportunities
Manage the sales and new business cycle ranging from initial client communication, presentations, RFI response, workshops, RFP submission, proposals, pitch, negotiation and deal signing
Develop competitive positioning analysis to identify new market and service growth areas
Collaborate with Marketing to develop short and long-term sales strategies
Immersion in the businesses core offering, becoming an evangelical expert in Digital Transformation to deliver inspiring storytelling proposals & presentations
Identify key decision-making, influential stakeholders and build positive and persuasive relationships within complex large organisations
Tap into existing relationships and develop new third-party relationships to create new business opportunities (e.g building channel partnerships with IT Vendors and software solution providers)
Understand prospective clients’ requirements and confidently demonstrate the added value of the agency’s services both for short-term opportunities and to make them a longer-term strategic client partner
Identify partnerships to leverage and collaborate within wider to ensure proposals meet deliverables that align with customers’ business needs
Act as key point of contact regarding all new business opportunities
Set and track sales targets, including sales forecasts and actual results
Make the agency highly visible, “front of mind” client partner

What you will have….

At least 5 years experience in a Sales Manager or Business Development role gained with an agency environment
Experience within a tech or digital environment
Target & results driven
Demonstrable relationship building experience at C level
Strong influencer with excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to close new business
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Commercial business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
Demonstrable ability to self- manage and work independently
Manage multiple work streams, prioritise & meet deadlines
Willingness to travel
