Microsoft Bid Solution Manager

 

Location: any of the following locations - Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Marlow

Salary: Up to £70k DOE

Full time: Permanent

Hybrid: 2-3 days per week in the office

 

We are looking for a new Microsoft Bid Solution Manager to join our client’s team and partner with a Bid Manager on their most important bids. Your role will be to craft end-to-end Microsoft solutions that not only meet all licensing requirements but also provide a tailored and complete package for their clients.

 

You'll need to build strong relationships with teams across the business, including Licensing, Microsoft Technical Practice, ITAM, Customer Success Managers, and MS Advisory. You will also help build and update our content library, ensuring all bids are supported by accurate and up-to-date resources from every department.

 

The Role:

  • Build strong relationships with teams like Licensing, Microsoft Technical Practice, Customer Success, and ITAM. You'll attend their meetings to stay informed and aligned on key priorities.
  • Partner with the Bid Manager on major Microsoft bids. Your goal is to create bespoke solutions that highlight the entire Microsoft portfolio and show the full value we provide beyond just licensing.
  • Help update the bid content library with information and resources from key teams across the business.
  • Look for opportunities to promote and upsell the full Microsoft portfolio, helping to drive our client’s overall strategy.

 

Who we are looking for:

  • A strong understanding of Microsoft portfolio, including their licensing, products, services, and technical practices.
  • Great people skills to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and customers.
  • A track record of creating comprehensive and aligned solutions for Microsoft bids that meet client needs.
  • Comfortable working across different teams, including Customer Success Managers, ITAM, and MS Advisory.
  • You'll manage your priorities and meet bid deadlines while also helping to improve the overall bid process.
