Marketing Executive

The Marketing Executive provides support to implement the brands marketing strategies, and plans, overseeing day-to-day marketing activities. The role develops and implements marketing campaigns and promotional activities and involves a broad range of tasks.
The role sits within the marketing team and has interaction with all other teams throughout the company.

*Develop promotional material and liaise with designers and printers for production
*Manage the marketing database and email distribution list including new subscriptions, opt-outs and bounce backs
*Update and manage website, including developing blogs and news articles, using the Content Management System
*Monitor website analytics and report back as required
*Develop advertising campaigns and artwork, for both offline and online activities
*Regularly review social media impact and engagement through analytics
*Design and co-ordinate regular electronic mail out initiatives
*Prepare marketing statistics and assessing the results of marketing campaigns
*Set up and manage internal and external surveys through online survey software eg Survey Monkey
*Contribute to developing in-house PR strategies and campaigns
*Monitor and record printed and online press coverage
*Book and coordinate exhibition and event activities, and attend events, as required
*Research suitable media outlets, editors and present as required (eg printed and online press, social media, press, TV and radio)
*Ensure press and media contacts are kept updated with promotional info
*Develop and promote webinars and podcasts with internal staff
*Proofread marketing materials and printed literature
*Planning and drafting monthly internal and external newsletters
*Regularly review promotional material stock levels and re-order materials as required
*Work with the Head of Marketing on a range of special projects, including PR campaigns and new developments to the websites
*Achieve sign off for all marketing materials from Head of Marketing

Skills & Experience
*Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar marketing role
*High standard of spoken and written English, excellent telephone and face to face communication skills
*Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
*Experience in communications scheduling and content planning
*Excellent computer skills; use of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook, databases, CRM systems
*Experience in managing marketing campaigns, both offline and online

*Foundation, HND or degree in marketing, communications, advertising or business
*Experience of PR and stakeholder relations
*Good understanding of the full marketing mix
*Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving organisation
*Experience using Salesforce

£25,000 – £28,000
