Marketing Communications Executive
Location: Reading
Full time: Permanent
Hybrid: 2 days in the office
Salary: Up to £40k DOE
We are seeking a versatile Marketing Communications Executive to own the internal and external voice of a leading IT Consulting firm. In this role, you will deliver clear, consistent messaging across all channels, supporting senior leadership and key departments on high-priority business initiatives.
You will provide strategic mentorship to a Creative Executive, ensuring that the company’s internal engagement and culture campaigns hit the mark and stay aligned with business goals.
The Role:
· Produce high-impact B2B collateral including whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership, to drive sales enablement and business development.
· Ensure consistent messaging across all channels to reinforce the company's status as a trusted industry partner.
· Oversee website content and SEO strategy, proactively optimising for engagement and search visibility.
· Build relationships with key media and influencers to strategically increase brand Share of Voice.
· Partner with external agencies and utilise in-house tools to develop visually compelling marketing assets.
· Coordinate with sales and internal teams to execute successful events, trade shows, and integrated campaigns.
· Conduct competitor and market research to identify growth opportunities and refine marketing strategy.
· Monitor and report on campaign KPIs, delivering actionable insights to improve overall ROI.
· Lead the growth and engagement strategy for all social platforms through relevant news and insights.
About You:
· 4+ years in a hands-on, generalist B2B marketing or communications role.
· Proven track record across content creation, digital marketing, website management, and SEO.
· Degree in marketing, CIM, or an equivalent professional qualification.
· Self-starter able to take full ownership of tasks and work confidently without daily supervision.
· Exceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for tone, grammar, and detail.
· Proficient with CMS platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics software.
· Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Combines creative campaign thinking with business-driven commercial awareness.
For the higher end of the salary bracket, we are looking for someone with at least 4 years marketing communications experience with services background who can turn technical intelligence into strategic messaging that drives clear commercial results.
