Marketing Automation - Senior Coordinator

Salary: £38k to £40k DOE

Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office

Permanent: Full time

 

As part of our client’s Marketing Automation team, you will act as a bridge between technical development and creative execution. You’ll be the hands-on lead for building, testing, and deploying tactical campaigns across multiple markets. Working at the intersection of marketing and technology, you will optimise customer journeys, lead platform adoption, and help our client elevate the profile of automation within the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, and deploy end-to-end automation journeys across email, SMS, and web forms.
  • Execute Pan-European campaigns with a focus on effective localisation and segmentation.
  • Resolve complex data and platform issues across Salesforce, Sitecore, and live campaigns.
  • Create responsive, modular email templates that balance brand consistency with high performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data, segmentation, and technical campaign needs.
  • Leverage data insights to build targeted segments for highly personalised customer journeys.
  • Partner with IT and development teams to manage requirements and drive platform enhancements.
  • Upskill local European offices through clear documentation and hands-on Strategic Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) support.
  • Act as the internal consultant for digital best practices and marketing automation innovation.

 

Essential Skills

  • Degree or professional qualification in Digital Marketing or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Proficient in HTML, CSS, and email development best practices.

 

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with AmpScript and a broader knowledge of CDPs.
  • Familiarity with CMS tools (e.g., Sitecore) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop).
  • Understanding of SEO and analytics tools like Google Analytics or Search Console.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like JIRA.

 

The higher end of the salary range is reserved for candidates with a strong track record in strategic Salesforce Marketing Cloud deployment, expert-level technical troubleshooting, and experience leading cross-functional digital projects across multiple markets.
