Marketing and Business Development Manager

My client is a high regarded regional Professional Services firm with a reputation for exceptional client service and staff development and retention. They are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager in a broad marketing role encompassing business development research, events , email and digital marketing, campaigns and website management. The role also oversees the day-to-day work of the Business Development Assistan
*Supporting the Business Development Partner in identifying, managing and progressing suitable targets for the Firm’s client base.
*Liaising with internal teams and departments with respect to business development campaigns including management of project plans, collateral and deliverables.
*Coordination of Marketing databases and associated Marketing lists ensuring it is kept up-to-date, delegating tasks to BDA as appropriate.
*generating ideas and executing marketing campaigns for the brand and the service areas, coordination of marketing plans for each campaign,manipulation and proofing of marketing materials
*Coordination of advertising and articles schedule, creating timeline and ensuring articles and adverts are delivered to the relevant publications
*liaising with fee earners to write articles as requested from planned schedule, chasing as necessary in order to meet deadlines and proofing the articles
*collation of information relevant for the Firm’s annual Chambers and Legal 500 submissions.
*ensure correct and consistent use of Firm logos and presentation ensuring the intranet is kept up-to-date in order to provide information to the Firm.
*Planning and co-ordinating the logistics including sourcing and booking suitable venues for external
events , investigating costs, preparing mailings lists, attending events, workshops and seminars as
necessary to ensure they run smoothly
*Ensure website information up-to-date, uploading content, articles and event information
*Coordination of email campaigns through Dotmailer; manipulating templates for various email campaigns, coordinating the mailing lists and setting up and sending of emails and generating post campaign reports.
*Social media initiatives; developing the use of social media for the benefit of the business.
The successful candidate :
*Experience in marketing or market research within a Professional services environment
*Strong project management skills, an organised approach to work and prioritisation.
*Problem solving skills.
*Competent IT operational skills and Excel (Microsoft Office Suite, bespoke marketing tools, computer programmes and applications and the marketing database), administrative and numeracy skills.
