My Client is one of the fastest growing global law firms with a reputation for exceptional client service and innovation. They are looking to recruit a Junior Business Development Manager to manage business development and marketing activities for Professional and Financial Disputes which promotes the profile of that segment of the business, develops relationships and enables revenue growth. The junior BDM will direct the development of clear strategies and business plans, and manage an aligned range of marketing campaigns,
communications and client targeting.
Key responsibilities:
* Development and implementation of business development and marketing campaigns
* Management of an integrated marketing and client development plan for the sector
* Creation and management of marketing materials and activities in support of the BD agenda
* Establishment and maintenance of up to date credentials information
* Creation of differentiating proposal materials and the management of pitch efforts
* Working with the Business Development Manager to contribute to the firm’s Key Account Programme
* Management of Business Development Executives’ involvement in sector activities
* develop and implement an appropriate media communications programme with in-house communications professionals
* Effectively support and communicate the key aims of the firm’s business development agenda within the sector
* Event management organisation

The successful candidate will be/have:
*Educated to degree level (2:1 or above) or possesses equivalent experience
* a professional marketing qualification, e.g. CIM (desirable)
*an experience Business development professional within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal services
*Managing integrated and sector-focused marketing and business development plans
* Experience of managing pitches/ and proposal materials , event management, maintaining credentials and producing collateral
*Working closely with partners and other fee earners to implement business development plans
*Marketing communications experience with good copy writing skills and an understanding of branding and design
*Experience of supervising and assisting in the coaching of junior team members
*Able to work closely with partners and associates and possess the ability to influence key partners
