International HR Manager
Here at Adam, we are working in partnership with this multinational, entrepreneurial business to seek an International HR Manager in support of significant business change & growth. Part of a highly successful conglomerate of global businesses, this enterprise is the leading player in their niche technology sector; specialising in developing, delivering and supporting innovative software solutions. In turn, these services allow their customers to manage business operations more effectively.
With a network of offices around the world, they are a truly global business and as such their employees come from a wide range of cultural, educational and geographic backgrounds. They are experts in their field, passionate about what they do and are always looking for new and innovative ways to solve their customer’s challenges, it’s this desire that has established them as the market leader.
As International HR Manager, you will be an influential member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the CEO and play a key role in helping shape the future direction of the business. Accountable for the people agenda, this HR Manager role will support all generalist HR aspects including Organisational Development, Talent Management and Succession Planning, People Development and Recruitment / On-boarding.
Whilst this role has many strategic elements, you will also work operationally to:
*Provide trusted and expert advice on a range of HR matters such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, leadership and learning and talent
*Apply HR expertise and commercial understanding to partner the global business leadership team
*Interpret business plans, diagnose the people implications and translate that into a clear people plan
*Drive HR functional excellence and process improvement
*Comfortable in a wide-ranging role from giving hands-on support to providing strategic direction
To be successful in this International HR Manager role you’ll be commercially astute, used to partnering senior leaders across the globe, building solid relationships and operating as coach and advisor.
You will have a full generalist background and a strong understanding of core HR processes and in addition you’ll be able to demonstrate:
*Previous experience of working in a Global / EMEA focused role – able to navigate the differing country legislation
*Experience of working with diverse cultures
*Ability to work with urgency – balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing organisation
*Resourcefulness in your approach – a creative problem-solver
*Agile – quick to comprehend information and new ideas, process change and understand business impact
*Analytical skills – able to use HR data / trends to propose solutions and recommendations
*Desire to grow, learn and advance
*Willingness to travel internationally – typically 3 to 4 times in a quarter
*Preferable experience within a tech based business
