Who are the business?
An SME based in South Manchester, which has been on a huge journey of transformation over the past few years. Now in the next phase of their evolution, they have a number of diverse and high profile projects on the horizon. A service sector business, they have a varied workforce, spread across multiple locations.
What is the role?
A HR Manager opportunity, which will cover a generalist remit. A key focus of the position will be leading and developing the HR team, giving them the support and confidence to push themselves and provide a proactive and highly pragmatic HR service.
Additionally, you will both own and support on a wide variety of HR projects across the business. These could include areas such as engagement, organisational design, leadership development programmes, changes to Ts&Cs and restructures. Finally, you will also have a BAU workload, handling complex employee relations issues, supporting on resourcing and provide advice on policies and processes.

What are they looking for?
A proven HR generalist, who has previous experience of leading a team in a HR context, team management experience is absolutely essential for this position. Additionally you will have truly generalist experience along with some exposure to projects around org design and restructures. Some unions exposure is desirable, however not essential.
A salary of between £37,000 – £43,000 is offer, plus additional benefits.
