We are looking for an experienced CRM Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract with an internationally renowned retailer with offices based in Warrington. The primary purpose of this role is to provide and manage a strategic CRM plan, in alignment with the overall business plan, through a variety of marketing channels including email marketing, direct mail and SMS.
You will come from a CRM background, preferably within retail. You will have a good understanding of email marketing, direct mail and SMS methods and be familiar with using an email service provider platform. This will include segmentation and analysis. You will have experience in driving a strategic CRM programme, including automated and bespoke campaigns and will be confident in briefing and interpreting data analysis. You will have strong copywriting skills and understand how to target different customer groups and loyalty levels. You will also be used to managing a team and able to influence cross functionally at all levels.
The CRM Manager will:
-Deliver a full CRM strategy through email, direct mail and SMS to include automated behavioural campaigns, commercial, event, local marketing and solus campaigns
-Provide insight into the customer database to the business and drive growth of the base with a focus on new customers, retention and reactivation
-Use customer data to deliver targeted campaigns to segmented customer groups
-Provide full ROI analysis on all elements of the CRM strategy
-Manage the relationship with 3rd party agencies to drive email performance improvements and to develop new campaigns and functionality
-Manage and develop a team of 2 CRM executives to bring the CRM plan to life
-Manage the CRM budget
-Be the business expert on the customer data held so that it can be used to maximum effect
-Work with stakeholders to ensure all CRM campaigns are legally compliant and on brand. Make recommendations to the wider business as necessary
The CRM Manager will ideally have:
-At least three years’ experience in a consumer retail CRM environment
-Experience in managing and developing a small team
-Experience in successfully managing internal and external stakeholders
-Experience in developing, implementing and executing a full CRM strategy and campaigns
-A good understanding and experience of all elements of the consumer marketing mix
