Contract Trade Marketing Manager
We are currently working with a well-established B2B organisation who are making huge waves in their industry and are looking to bring on board a Trade Marketing Manager to join their Cheshire based team. In this role you will be responsible for delivering the promotional calendar for the International Market and to implement and manage the strategic direction of promotions to meet company performance targets.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:-
*Work with Brand Managers and Sales Managers in developing an annual promotional activity plan which drives sales growth for the Independent and key accounts
*Ensure sales targets and budget requirements are clearly outlined
*Develop a clear project brief for all promotions with key timings so workload can be managed and prioritised.
*Understand the key aspects of brand awareness and positioning vis-à-vis defined competitors.
*To understand the products’ position in the market in terms of price and performance and to ensure that they remain competitive.
*Develop channel and promotional strategies with sales management and to ensure that product presentation, merchandising, POS material and promotions are appropriate
*Design impactful e-marketing campaigns which promote the brand, and which can work with the internal CRM system to drive sales growth
*Keep up to date with developments in your area of work and to ensure that directors/managers are kept informed of any issues relevant to the business, including potential areas of development or improvement.
