Contract Magento Developer

Magento Developer required for a 5 month contract in Manchester to lead on the upgrade of a Magento ecommerce website. They are looking for a contractor to be based on site and liaise with them as to the work undertaken ensuring that when the project is completed they know how to undertake basic updates as necessary.

The Magento Developer will be involved in the full development life-cycle and work alongside their Head of Marketing and taking the lead on this key projects.

Experience and Knowledge:
2+ years of Magento experience

Lead Development experience
Ability to present a portfolio of Magento sites
Solid understanding of Magento development best practices
Understanding of automated testing methods
Solid understanding of OO
Great communication skills and willing to share project process with the team

Nice to have: –
Magento Certification
Zend Certification
Computer Science or related Degree
Agile Development experience
